It’s that spooky time of year again. We dare you to join the 18th Annual Haunted House Walking and Trolley Tours for a night of scary stories inside homes spanning three centuries. Visitors meet at the Pensacola Historical Museum and can choose between three scary routes which include 15 stops each. One stop is the Victorian Dorr House in Historic Pensacola Village. Once an old schoolhouse filled with children, you might feel a spirit tugging on your pant leg. Another route takes visitors to the “gray house,” which today houses Hefferan Architects. The former owner Thomas Moristo was a seacaptain who lost his wife at sea. His troubled spirit will not rest, and he occasionally lets his presence known. The third option is the Redlight Tour, where adults 18 and up can hear stories about the bars and brothels that once lined Palafox. Tours are scheduled Friday and Saturdays in October and depart every half-hour after 6 p.m.
