Looking for shells on the beach
Recent storms in the Gulf of the Mexico have brought many treasures on shore. Sunday, just passed the entrance to Fort Pickens, hundreds of shells lined the beach. While waves frequently break and damage shells, there is a fun challenge to find that perfect, untouched shell. Ranging from bright white to earthy reds and oranges, they make ideal coffee table decorations, funky necklaces or just a special keepsake from a trip to the beach. After a storm is also a good time to look for starfish and sand dollars, a truly unique treasure. Happy shell-shopping!
