In the heart of 600 acres of rolling woodlands, Marcus Pointe Golf Club is one of the top facilities along the Gulf Coast. The course is rated by GOLF DIGEST subscribers as a great value. Green fees start at $38, and golfers get a $10 discount after 2 p.m.

The greens are impressive, and the rolling hills provide a challenge for even the most seasoned golfer. Amenities include 18 holes of championship golf, extensive practice areas and professional instructions by Class A PGA Pro Shane Allen.

Chris Kelly recently came on board as the owner and chef of MP Grille, the club’s full-service restaurant. Chris had previously worked at local favorite The Fish House, and golfers are sure to get a taste of his experience here. Food items include such specialties as Steak Diane, meatloaf sandwiches, Church Street Grouper and Mango Mojito Key Lime Pie…Chris even bakes his own bread in-house.

A portion of the picturesque course is nestled along Crescent Lake. The lake is home to a huge turtle—said to be the size of a Volkswagen.

Think those sand traps look familiar? Yes, it's the famous sugar-white sand from Pensacola Beach. The course was able to use sand leftover from a dredging project. So, you get a little bit of the beach while on the course!
